Adrian Powell

Thesis: "The impact of allopolyploidy on rhizobial symbiosis"
Adrian graduated from Trent University with a B.Sc. in biology in 2008, receiving his M.Sc. in 2010. As an undergraduate, he worked at the Canadian Environmental Modelling Centre, studying the bioaccumulation of contaminants in food webs. Prior to starting graduate studies at Cornell, Adrian also worked for several months at the RIKEN Plant Science Center in Yokohama, Japan.
Adrian has joined the Doyle lab to examine the impact of allopolyploidy on rhizobial symbiosis, through the study of Glycine species.
